Last night the girls I have lunch with everyday at work had me over to Kim's house for a Chinese dinner and shower. It was a great night as we are such close friends and see each other every day. We even had an extra friend join the evening , Corrine, which made the evening extra fun. Mary-Ellen couldn't make the dinner as she was picking up her hubby at the airport - we are all glad to know that Mike is home safe and sound. The food was great - Dayna found this super delicious cake and arranged to have Chinese decorations on it - really nice. Kim had found a couple fun games to play - we all grumbled at first but they were actually really fun and we laughed our way through both games. As you can see the gifts were perfect and there is also a very, very generous gift card from everyone from
Babysrus - it will be put to good use for lots of things for Sarah. Thanks to everyone and a special thanks to Kim for having us all over to her gorgeous house. Thanks again ladies - you are the best friends ever!!!!
ps - Wes was on his own to make dinner - luckily I was sent home with some left over Chinese food and a piece of cake - I got home after 9:00pm and he hadn't had dinner yet - he was still playing his X-box game(yes he was in trouble) - he was so excited to have the Chinese food and couldn't say enough about the cake - he just loved it (Dayna you are now his hero).

Dayna just sent me a picture of the cake - isn't it just great!!! And it tasted as good as it looks too!!!
